Disgusting, relatively controversial, but awful problem? Would you get cancer if you ate a malignant tumor?

Posted by Mister Ambulance Driver
so listening to nirvana?

I would assume that when your body broke down the cancer in your abdomen that not a hundred% of it would be dead, as it is cancer and then it would in some way get into your blood and then into your lymph nodes so I would GUESS that yeah it could occur.

Posted by michelob86
No. Especially, if you consume it with fava beans and a nice Chianti. FFFFFFFF.

Posted by William B
I never believe something would occur the acids in your mouth and abdomen would kill the cancer. What I do it, no. I choose treating cancer the way my oncologist prescribes.

Posted by Tarkarri
Probable but not likely.

But offered all cancer clients are banned from donating organs for transplant, even following all trace of cancer has been removed or destroyed, it wouldn?t be a chance I would just take.

And why would everyone want to anyway????????

Posted by Coquette Rouge
No, and sure, that is a gross question, but a feasible query without a doubt. You cannot ?catch? cancer. And another misguided reality: cancer does not grow by currently being uncovered to open up air, as if one particular was to have surgical treatment.
The only way to get cancer is if your entire body is predisposed to possessing it. Absolutely everyone has cancer markers in their DNA. Some individuals have weaker DNA than others.

Would you get cancer if you ate a malignant tumor?
It popped into my head following hearing a song where ?consume your cancer? was a line. Properly? would you?

Fantastic Gift Ideas for Singers | AutoRoll - Shopping and Product ...

If you had to give a present to a frontman you know, what would you give them? For some of us, this might be a difficult situation because finding a very explicit present can be tricky. I was in an analogous situation a little while back and no idea what sort of gift to give. Fortuitously I spoke with a friend who gave me 1 or 2 concepts on possible present ideas.

He informed me that a frontman only has one true enthusiasm, and that is clearly singing. If I was to give a gift, it might have apparently had to have something to do with that. The toughest part was understanding what all vocalists need. Here is a list of the top 5 options I created.

All hopeful vocalists want to get their voices heard. That's why any recording hardware would make a great gift. A great mike, software and studio equipment can go a long way. Depending on what that person may already have, you might pick your gift out to fit their wishes in an appropriate way.

Everyone has an inspiration. Almost all of the time for vocalists, it?s another musician. If you know or could find out whom that is, an album or record of that particular musician can make a great present. You could even take a step further and see if you could find tickets to a live local concert for that uplifing musician.

If the vocalist you know is trying to break out into the music scene, there are one or two ways you might help. There are booking agents that help with that process. You might work out the details into getting the right people in touch. This kind of effort needs time and you might give the gift of helping them out with your own time.

For a vocalist who is developing their voice, there are always voice coaches out there. You could help introduce that person to one as well as picking up the tab on the lessons. Building a powerful base for someone's singing interest could make a great present.

A fab present for the vocalists who perform on stage a lot could be trendy items such as diverse accessories. For the girls, what about charm bands? They add a little flair to a singer?s glamour. For men, ties and hats make great stylish items.

Make a change for a special singer you know with these fab present ideas. If you're uncertain of whether a present would be a tight fit or not, it's better to stick to something conservative. You do not need your present to appear too overbearing.

Merrill W. is a gift adviser and a special shopper for the last 12 years. Supporting individuals to uncover the best present as generally been her enthusiasm. Orioles' Guthrie silences Yankees

By MIKE FITZPATRICK

updated 1:21 a.m. ET July 30, 2011

NEW YORK - Jeremy Guthrie made one thing clear to any playoff contenders pondering a deal for him: He can help.

The same could be said for Derrek Lee and Koji Uehara, too.

Guthrie shut down the New York Yankees for seven innings, perhaps driving up his price in a trade, and the Baltimore Orioles got homers from Lee and Mark Reynolds in a 4-2 victory Friday night.

"Jeremy needed it. Jeremy's pitched well enough to have some more Ws next to his name, so I'm real proud of him tonight," Baltimore manager Buck Showalter said. "Everybody played well. There was a lot of intensity in a situation where some people may not have had it all the time."

Kevin Gregg held on in a shaky ninth, striking out Brett Gardner with runners at the corners to end it.

Reynolds and Lee each drove in two runs, lending some rare offensive support to the major league leader in losses. Guthrie (5-14) allowed just four hits, including Mark Teixeira's solo homer, and walked three in one of his best outings during a frustrating season.

"A real good win for us here against a quality team and a good pitcher," Guthrie said.

The right-hander outpitched A.J. Burnett (8-9) for his first win in four career starts at Yankee Stadium. Last-place Baltimore won for the second time in 11 road games, improving to 1-6 against New York this year, as Guthrie moved to 2-7 away from home.

A durable starter considered a prime trade candidate before Sunday's non-waiver deadline, Guthrie handcuffed New York's dangerous lineup by consistently keeping the ball down. He got 12 outs on grounders and four of his five strikeouts came in his last two innings.

"I don't anticipate anything happening," Guthrie said. "I've said it before, 99 percent of what goes on or is talked about around trade deadline doesn't ever happen. So why would you ever worry about it or think about it?"

The 32-year-old Guthrie has sharp-looking wins over the Red Sox and Yankees in his past three starts. In between, he pitched pretty well in a loss to the Angels.

"Jeremy Guthrie's worth a lot. You saw what he's capable of today against a lineup like the Yankees," Lee said. "There's not a lot of great starting pitching that's available out there, so I'm sure he'd bring a good return."

Uehara, also potential trade bait, fanned two in a scoreless eighth for Baltimore ? extending his shutout streak to 15 innings. He has not given up a run in 13 outings since June 19 at Washington.

Gregg pitched the ninth for his 17th save.

Robinson Cano and Nick Swisher opened the inning with consecutive doubles to cut it to 4-2. One out later, Jorge Posada walked and Russell Martin grounded into a force play. That brought up Gardner, who thought he walked on a close pitch before he went down swinging.

Gardner slammed his bat twice to the ground, smashing it into pieces.

"I didn't get any hits tonight, so it was time to retire it anyway," he said.

Burnett struck out 10 and yielded five hits in eight innings. He is 0-3 in five starts since beating Milwaukee on June 29.

"I gave all I could out there," Burnett said. "Where I'm at now, I feel fine. I can't wait to pitch the next game."

New York fell to 4-3 on a 10-game homestand against three of the AL's worst teams: Oakland, Seattle and Baltimore.

In the opener of a four-game series, the start was delayed by rain for 1 hour, 49 minutes. The teams play a day-night doubleheader Saturday to make up an April 12 rainout.

Burnett walked Lee with one out in the second and Reynolds hit the next pitch into the New York bullpen in right-center. The opposite-field shot was his 22nd homer of the season.

Vladimir Guerrero and Lee hit consecutive doubles to center in the fourth, making it 3-0.

Lee also homered to the opposite field on Burnett's first pitch with two outs in the sixth, sending a solo drive to the short porch in right.

Lee began the night 2 for 11 (.182) with four strikeouts and no extra-base hits in his career against Burnett. The slick-fielding first baseman also could be on the trading block after his recent resurgence at the plate.

"Well, I'm sure someone would look at my numbers now compared to a couple weeks ago, it probably looks a little better. So we'll see what happens. It's something that's out of my control," Lee said. "I need to do it a lot longer than a week or two, but I definitely feel better."

Teixeira connected for his 29th of the year on a full count in the bottom half of the sixth.

NOTES: Baltimore plans to recall RHP Chris Tillman from Triple-A Norfolk to start the first game Saturday. LHP Zach Britton will return from Double-A Bowie to start the nightcap against another pitcher coming back up from the minors: Yankees RHP Ivan Nova was 8-4 when he was sent to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. ... Orioles LHP Mike Gonzalez was available out of the bullpen after completing his three-game suspension Thursday in Toronto. Gonzalez was punished for throwing behind Boston slugger David Ortiz on July 10 at Fenway Park. ... Guthrie improved to 4-9 in 15 career starts against the Yankees. ... Burnett dropped to 12-5 in 20 starts against Baltimore.

The Hidden Costs of Relocation | Iowa Divorce Attorney News

How exactly do we define a ?hidden cost? of relocation? It?s not a non-disclosed cost buried in the supply chain?although those can be hidden and lead to surprise last-minute expenses if you don?t have a relocation services company looking out for your company?s best interests.

But the real hidden costs of relocation lie in stressed-out transferees, lost productivity and even transferred employees who leave the company shortly after a relocation.

If you eliminate loss-on-sale benefits for transferred employees who own their own homes, how much stress are you creating for your employees? If you don?t offer spousal support, what will that do for the morale of your transferred employee? Stress leads to sick days, personal days and dissatisfied employees?all resulting in lost productivity and lost dollars for your company.

When you limit or eliminate moving expenses as part of a relocation package, how many more days will your employees need to line up moving companies, find the best prices or move themselves? How many days of productivity will this cost your organization?

Studies show a direct correlation between poor retention and changes in corporate relocation policies. It costs much more (in real dollars, employee time and productivity) to hire and train a new employee than it does to retain a quality worker.

In today?s workplace, we know that every dollar counts. But before cutting costs by reducing benefits on employee relocation packages, make sure to measure the hidden costs of relocation.

To illustrate, we?ll share a story, all too common in today?s real estate marketplace and job market.
?

John Moves Across the Country with a ?Bare Bones? Relocation Package

Meet John, a successful product manager for a sporting goods company in a suburb of New York City. John knows how to get the job done. He?s run countless successful product launches in the New York market. But now there?s a problem with a product launch in the West Coast office, near Lake Tahoe. Upper management knows John is the man to fix it. But will he accept the assignment?

The executive team makes him an offer for a long-term, possibly permanent, relocation, and John accepts. Problem solved, right? The right man is in the right position to get the new product out without a glitch.

Now John meets with Human Resources to discuss the terms of his relocation. He?ll receive reimbursement of all moving costs, a small bonus, and the HR department will connect him with real estate agents to help him sell his home. He?s got a sizeable house in a coveted suburb ? no one thinks about how long it might take to sell a two-year-old home in an overvalued area in a rapidly depreciating market.

And frankly, the HR department doesn?t really know John, or what an important asset he is to the company. They don?t realize the executive team wants to keep him on board ? and productive ? at nearly all costs. They don?t realize how important John?s productivity is to the company?s bottom line, especially with this do-or-die product launch on the horizon.

Now John faces the most important task of his career and the burden of selling a home that is now worth less than he paid for (and less than his mortgage) ? and dropping in price each day.

John moves into temporary housing in California while his wife stays behind waiting for the kids to finish out the school year, job hunting on the Internet and trying to sell the house.?

John?s wife had planned to meet him in California within a month, but now it?s closing in on three months, with no bites on the home and a very stressed-out John splitting his attention between real estate sales and the product launch. Every other weekend, John goes home to help his wife pack some more, re-evaluate home sale plans with the real estate agent, host an open house or do work around the house to help raise the value of his home and help it ?show? better.

When he returns to work Monday after taking the red eye Sunday night, his mind still isn?t on his job or the new product. The executive team in California starts to wonder what East Coast management saw in this ?star player.? His head is barely in the project. He misses meetings, forgets important details, and the important product launch is even further behind schedule than it was before. The product is high volume, low margin, which means that every day it?s not on the market means lost revenue ? and the holiday season is coming.

When John misses a deadline to finalize an agreement with a major distributor and is locked out of their plan for the next year, the company wonders if it can recover from the estimated million loss in projected profits from the new product, the damaged relationship with the distributor, and the loss of morale across the department.

John, who was supposed to be the shining star, crash landed ? and it?s nearly impossible to put a price on the damage it did to the company, above and beyond the projected million-plus.

Let?s take the scenario one step further. After losing face, failing to sell his home, and living with six months of stress, John moves back to New York, takes his house off the market, and opens an independent consulting firm. Now the sporting goods manufacturer has to hire and train his replacement ? more lost money, time and productivity.
?

A Better Ending for John

Now, let?s look at this scenario where the sporting goods manufacturer relies on a relocation services company, rather than the HR department, to negotiate, organize and manage John?s moving package.

The relocation company hires the best and brightest real estate agency to take the sale of John?s home off his plate. John?s company offers to pay a percentage of loss-on-sale if, after 30 days, John can?t get the asking price for his home. The company isn?t taking on the whole burden, but it?s enough that John can afford an equal quality house in the new area and maintain his standard of living. Qualified real estate agents in California help John find a new home he and his wife love.

The relocation company manages all the details of the physical move, leveraging years of industry relationships to hire the best movers at the best prices. John and his family are packed and ready to go the day they close on both houses.

The relocation company also helps John?s wife find a job. The company provides a community information package that helps John and his family feel comfortable in the new surroundings, pointing the two professionals to local networking groups, and listing local sports and activities for the kids.

John and his family move together and, after a few days off to unpack and recover from jet lag, John is at the office and ready to turn things around on the new product launch. The product actually releases two weeks before deadline, and sales figures are 20% above projections.

A year later, a happy John cashes a check for his retention bonus, and by that time, is already heavily immersed in the next big launch.
?

Just Where Are the Hidden Costs?

In our first scenario, we can spot multiple hidden costs:

Temporary housing

Multiple trips home for the relocating employee

Lost productivity, due to travel and stress

Missed deadlines that cost money

Lower morale, company-wide?when one company leader is experiencing stress, it can affect a whole department

Hiring John?s replacement

Training John?s replacement

Lost productivity during the training and acclimation period for the new employee

Today?s relocating employees face multiple stressors that employers can help alleviate with the right relocation package and home sale assistance. While packing and moving, uprooting a family, and transferring schools are all stressful, today?s most stressful moving issues come from the sale of a home.

Some employees? homes are already ?under water,? meaning they owe more on the mortgage than the house is worth. Others simply won?t be able to recoup the investment of what they paid for their home in a booming market. Many people wouldn?t sell if not for a career opportunity and incentives too good to pass up?or the fear of losing their job if they turn down the relocation package. Since happy employees are more productive than scared, stressed employees, it?s in a company?s best interests to offer a relocation package that includes:??

Home sale and purchase assistance
?

Possible loss-on-sale benefits

Timely, high-quality, low-stress moving services (for household goods, vehicles and pets)

Spousal assistance

Tours of and visits to the new location

A way for transferred employees to provide honest, objective feedback regarding their satisfaction immediately after the move, and then three and six months later
?

Benefits of a Successful Relocation

A successful relocation, whether it?s managed by an HR department or a relocation company, is one in which the transferee can get back to the job, focused and stress-free, as quickly as possible. The transferee should feel good about the decision, good about his new home and valued as an employee.

When a company develops a relocation policy, decisions must be made. Sometimes, budget cuts force cutting corners. But don?t forget to factor in the hidden costs of a relocation before you begin eliminating or limiting key services. It can be challenging to quantify the hidden costs of a relocation, including lost productivity, drops in morale, and employees that quit after a stressful relocation, but a relocation services company can help you make these decisions with best practices, matrices and standards that show

'Jeopardy!' host injured while chasing burglar (omg!)

SAN FRANCISCO - No one needed to buzz in with a question when "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek walked out on crutches at Google headquarters to host the National Geographic World Championship.

"The answer is, at 2:30 yesterday morning, chasing a burglar down the hall at my San Francisco hotel until my Achilles tendon ruptured and I fell in an ignominious heap to the carpeting," he explained Wednesday in the quiz show's signature answer-before-question format.

Lucinda Moyers, 56, was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and possession of stolen property. She's accused of stealing cash, a bracelet and other items from the room where Trebek was staying with his wife, Jean.

On Thursday, San Francisco Superior Court Judge Jeff Ross set Moyers' bail at $625,000 and ordered her to stay at least 150 feet away from the Trebeks.

Moyers, in an orange jail jumpsuit, said "yes" when Ross asked if she wanted a public defender. Her arraignment was postponed until Monday.

In a jail interview, Moyers told KGO-TV that she didn't go into Trebek's hotel room and believes she was arrested because of her criminal record or because it was the host of a popular syndicated game show who reported the burglary.

"I haven't done nothing. I haven't gone in his room or nothing. Just like I said that night, 'I wasn't in your room.' And I stick by that. I wasn't in his room," Moyers said.

The public defender's office declined to comment on the charges but "looks forward to conducting an investigation on Ms. Moyers' behalf," said spokeswoman Tamara Aparton.

Trebek, 71, said he snapped the Achilles tendon while running after the woman around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. He is scheduled to have surgery Friday and is expected to be in a cast for six weeks.

Trebek, who has hosted "Jeopardy!" since 1984, told KNTV he was sleeping at the Marriott Marquis Hotel when he realized someone was inside his room looking through his belongings.

"I woke up and saw a figure in our hotel bedroom and I thought I was dreaming," he said. "A moment later, I got up and saw that the door was being held open by a wad of tissue. I opened the door and saw a woman walking away, and I realized immediately that someone had been in the room."

Trebek said he ran down the hall and confronted her.

"She came out of the little room where the ice machine is and I said, 'What were you doing in our room?'" Trebek said. "She said, 'I wasn't in your room!' I said, 'What are you doing up here?' She said, 'I was visiting friends.' I said, 'No, you weren't. Let's see what security has to say about that."

"As I reached for the phone to call security, she bolted. She ran down the hall. I chased her. And I didn't get more than 25 feet before my right Achilles tendon ruptured and I crashed to the ground."

The suspect was apprehended inside the hotel and most of the stolen items were recovered near the ice machine, but no cash was found, San Francisco police Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.

"We got most of our stuff back, except the one piece of jewelry that I ever wear," Trebek told KGO-TV. "It's a bracelet that my mother gave me many years ago, so that's gone, and cash."

It was unclear if Trebek was targeted or how the burglar got into his room, said Erica Derryck, a spokeswoman for the district attorney's office.

Derryck said Moyers has two prior residential burglary convictions in San Francisco from 1990 and 1991 and served time in state prison.

Prosecutors are still determining whether to charge Moyers under California's "three-strikes" law, which could result in a more extensive punishment if she's found guilty again, Derryck said.

Family seeks recognition for soldier slain in Ark. (AP)

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. ? Andy Long lies in a military cemetery in Arkansas, between a Persian Gulf veteran and a man who served in Korea.

While the tombstones around him say where the soldiers served, the granite slab marking the 23-year-old's grave doesn't list a military campaign ? at least, not one the Army recognizes.

In the two years since Long was killed and another soldier was wounded outside a military recruiting station in Little Rock by a self-professed jihadist, their families have struggled to convince the military and the federal government that the two were victims of the global war on terror, not merely a random act of violence.

"My son was killed in this war," Janet Long said after she left roses and baby's-breath at her son's grave. "It wasn't a motorcycle accident and it wasn't a convenience-store drive-by shooting."

Long's parents are fighting for formal recognition, namely Purple Hearts, for their son and his wounded comrade, Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula. Before the murder trial of Abdulhakim Muhammad ended abruptly Monday with a plea deal, they sent a hefty report to the Secretary of the Army's office and The Associated Press, detailing why the soldiers deserve the honor.

They say they are not only seeking acknowledgment of the soldiers' sacrifices but worry that without any formal recognition of being wounded in the line of duty, Ezeagwula ? who still has shrapnel in his body from the shooting ? may have to fight for ongoing health care.

Their goal seems nearly impossible. The award is usually reserved for U.S. troops wounded or killed in combat or in an act of international terrorism, and the Army says neither of the soldiers is eligible. While Muhammad called the shooting an act of war against America in retribution for the deaths of Muslims abroad, no federal terrorism charges have been filed against him.

Instead, it was handled in state court, with prosecutors arguing that it was a straightforward case of murder and attempted murder when Muhammad drove up to the recruiting station, drew an assault rifle and fired on the two uniformed soldiers.

"Unless the guy is arrested as a terrorist, they're not going to be successful," said John Bircher, a national spokesman for the Military Order of the Purple Heart.

Both the Longs and Ezeagwulas have questioned the lack of federal charges. The U.S. attorney in Little Rock has declined to comment. Ray Gall, a spokesman for Army Human Resources Command in Fort Knox, classified Long's death as a non-hostile homicide.

"I find that offensive," said Long's father, Daris, who spent 27 years in the Marine Corps, serving in countries from Somalia to Japan. "He was killed by a terrorist who's affiliated with a hostile international force."

One of Andy Long's great-grandfathers was a doughboy in World War I, and both his grandfathers were military. Janet Long served in the Navy. Andy's younger brother, Triston, picked the Army.

Andy enlisted in the Army at 23 and had just finished boot camp when he volunteered to be a recruiter. On June 1, 2009, he and Ezeagwula were standing outside the building and smoking when a black truck pulled up. Muhammad rolled down the window and fired an assault rifle at the two young man who'd never seen combat.

Ezeagwula, then 18, watched his friend fall to the ground as the bullets hit them. In the parking lot, Janet Long heard the gunshots.

Shortly afterward, authorities were handcuffing Muhammad on a nearby highway. In confessing to authorities and the AP, Muhammad ? who was born Carlos Bledsoe in Memphis, Tenn., and changed his name after converting to Islam ? said shooting two uniformed soldiers was justified because of U.S. military action against his fellow Muslims in the Middle East.

To the Longs and the Ezeagwulas, that raises questions about the lack of federal charges.

"I'm not going to say (Muhammad) should be put to death, but I feel like the federal government should step in and do something about it," Ezeagwula's mother, Sonja said.

While the Longs fight for their son, their quest extends to Ezeagwula, who is now 20.

"In reality, my son is dead," Daris Long said. "Putting Purple Heart on his grave, that's a vanity thing. He does deserve it. But Quinton's alive and we need to take care of the living."

After another surgery in January, Ezeagwula walks with a bit of a limp ? though he tries to hide it. His mother said he takes medication to mellow him out and help him sleep. She worries that without some sort of recognition from the military, her son could be left with the burden of proving his injuries are related to his time as a soldier.

The Purple Heart, Daris Long said, "cuts a lot of red tape."

Over the weekend, before they agreed to the plea deal that took the death penalty off the table in Muhammad's trial, Daris and Janet Long visited their son's grave. She snipped at flowers, with a silver bracelet encircling her wrist that spells out her son's name, the year he was born and the year he died. Daris Long plucked the stones from his son's tombstone and placed them on the one behind his.

"To let her know we've been here," he explained.

While the Longs hope that the military will publicly honor their son as killed in the line of duty, they quietly included on his gravestone the letters "GWOT" to acknowledge the global war on terror. It's tucked right above a Bible verse, where men with longer lives are often remembered as loving husbands and fathers.

Staging Houses Speeds Sales | NC Rumors

The first impression is often the most important one when it comes to buying a new home. That's where a professional home stager comes in. These design professionals can transform a house into a dream home designed to captivate potential home buyers as soon as they see it.

Home stager Gloria Crowley says staging is a growing trend in the U.S. real estate market.

She carefully chooses which pieces of furniture and household accessories to take from her warehouse outside Washington, D.C., to a moving truck for today's job.

?We select things for the house that we think will have the house show best," says Crowley. "And then we take some extra things in case they don?t work the way we thought they would work.?

Her job is to make the house look appealing, so potential buyers get that good first impression.

?About 15 years ago, I was a real estate agent and I staged my own listings, and it turned out that they sold faster and for more money," she says. "And so, eventually, other agents asked me to stage their properties and now I do mostly staging.?

Today's job is at a vacant house in Washington, D.C., which is up for sale for $890,000. For a $6,000 fee, Crowley and her team give it a makeover.

"Decisions are constantly evolving and changing because what we think might be a good solution ends up switching once we get more things in the room, so it is a constant process,? says Jania Helm, an interior designer who used to decorate homes to reflect her clients? tastes.

When she began working with Crowley three years ago, staging a house required the opposite approach.

The homeowner paid $6,000 to have this vacant house staged. (VOA - J. Soh)

"Staging involves taking a look at the home and deciding how to best appoint it so that it shows and appeals to the broadest audience.?

There are no statistics, but Crowley says home staging has become more common in recent years as the real estate market has become more competitive. She says she is busier than ever.

"If there are 10 houses on the block and nine of them don't show well and one does, the one that does is the one that is going to sell.?

Some houses don?t need a lot of staging, others require a total renovation. The fees for home staging can range from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands depending on how much work is needed.

Real estate agent Evelyn Mattar believes it?s worth it to the seller.

?I can say it does make an empty house sell quicker," says Mattar. "And therefore you have to consider how long the sellers are carrying it on the market if they owe things, if they owe money on a mortgage.?

Furniture from Crowley's warehouse dresses up a vacant home. (VOA - J. Soh)

According to Mattar, a 26-year industry veteran, staging has become even more critical as realtors increasingly use online virtual tours to show off their properties.

"If you get online and see a virtual tour of an empty house, it doesn?t really give you the proportions and how you are going to live in the house," she says. "And if the house does not show well, people aren?t interested in going to see it.?

Once the staging is complete on Crowley's latest project - the Washington, D.C. property - the vacant house has been transformed into a showcase.

Leslie Heister came to the weekend open house. ?It looks nice. I think the staged houses help you kind of envision how you would fit in the house yourself.?

John Young came with his family. ?We looked at the virtual tour and see how the house is laid out. And the space was a lot of what we were looking for.?

Young says they will have to look at more houses before making any offers but - thanks to a good first impression - this house will be on his list.

Strategy for the improvement of memory ? How to pay attention

If you are someone yell "FIRE" will stop listening to eighth and in any case. Well, that such a device is to draw attention to what you create for yourself when you are about to leave your house.

I am not pleading for crying out loud. My suggestion is certainly screaming inside, or a song, or a vision. The intellectual equivalent of a bind eye-catching bright red ribbon around the handle alarm memory. All it takes is a simple fraction ordinary, it is addictive, asBrushing teeth, making it the only long enough to ensure that nothing is more important to stop off.

Experience has taught me that not only moments of frantic begging attention ? even if do not have to stop especially me mad, take a deep breath and go out of my control.

It would be too embarrassing for me ? the Lady Memory, workshop presenter, motivator, author of Where are my keys, and creator of the LOVE Memory Method, which teaches people of all agesto recall in a way never forget ? do not appear in a meeting without a copy of my book, or wearing two different earrings!

Here's what I'm trained to do, to force me to stop and check before leaving my house. And I mean every time. If I do not take a break, the all important, I'm sure made something undo.

I need a break if you run my door, especially on days that I'm haste, lack of time, in my opinion gallops forwardparticipate go over the details of a meeting, or I'm out, I present a workshop on that day.

I also need a break, in rare cases in which I appear all the time in the world, because the danger is not so much the crisis of how the mind wanders, thinking about something other than what is surely the coffee pot separately.

This may sound silly, but it really works for me. While I am going to achieve, for the doorknob, cries my inner self, "stop", my creativityCar imagine a red light on the handle, and I take a deep breath. Small break, which leads back to my opinion in the present. I run down my list, and then I can with the knowledge of the brain that is my house locked and I need everything I have to leave with me.

A good memory is dependent on an internal system, especially to highlight the most important moments.

I invite you to create an internal infallible advisement for you. And then they practice every day to consciously30 days until it becomes a habit. So do not leave home without it.
