Owensboro Grain investing in glycerin production for its biodiesel ...

In Kentucky, Owensboro Grain is investing $15 million in a glycerin production facility co-located alongside its soybean-based biodiesel plant. The new add-on should be completed this fall with full production ramped up by January. The state?s agricultural processing loan program put in $1.5 million toward the project.
